Access to the service
Dictable provides guided activities to strengthen language skills, tracks, corrections, contests, leaderboards, progress features, and workspaces for institutions.
Some parts of the service are free. Others may require an account, profile, invitation, contest registration, subscription, payment, or institution access.
We may change, suspend, or remove a feature for maintenance, security, compliance, product improvement, or another legitimate reason. We make reasonable efforts to limit interruptions.
Accounts, profiles, and security
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us of unauthorized use. You are responsible for actions performed from your account, except where caused by our fault or by a compromise not attributable to you.
An account may contain several profiles. Each profile must be used by the authorized person or learner. You must not impersonate someone else, create fake profiles, bypass level rules, or manipulate scores.
Minors and educational use
Dictable may be used by pupils or minor profiles. Where required by law, the school, or the context, use must be authorized by a parent, legal representative, school, association, or authorized organization.
Adults who create, manage, or invite minor profiles confirm they have the necessary permissions and use the data only for the intended educational or contractual purposes.
Institutions, classes, and groups
Institution features allow organizations, groups, roles, invitations, progress tracking, and educational access to be managed. The organization administrator is responsible for group configuration, accuracy of submitted information, and member permissions.
Supervisors and administrators may only access or export information necessary for their role. They must respect learner confidentiality and the rules applicable to their organization.
Payments, subscriptions, and billing
Prices, currencies, possible taxes, durations, limits, and renewal terms are shown at subscription or payment time. A payment may be processed by a secure third-party provider.
Payment providers may access only the information needed for authorization, verification, anti-fraud checks, refunds, or payment-related accounting. Dictable does not store full card numbers or full payment method credentials.
Unless mandatory law or the purchase flow states otherwise, digital services started with your agreement may limit withdrawal rights. Refund requests are reviewed according to the offer, usage status, legal obligations, and the payment provider's rules.
Use rules
You agree not to:
- use Dictable for illegal, fraudulent, harmful, or discriminatory purposes;
- attempt to access an account, organization, class, API, or data without authorization;

- publish or transmit unlawful, defamatory, violent, hateful, misleading, malicious, or rights-infringing content;
- resell, copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit Dictable content without written permission;
- manipulate results, leaderboards, contests, badges, or reward systems.
In case of abuse, security risk, non-payment, breach of these terms, or legal obligation, we may limit, suspend, or remove access, with notice where possible.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, law, security, offers, or providers. If a significant change occurs, we will provide appropriate information. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance of the new terms.
Applicable law and disputes
These terms are interpreted according to the law applicable to the relevant contract and parties, including Ivorian law or French law where applicable.
Before taking action, we invite you to contact us to seek an amicable solution. Consumers located in the European Union may also use applicable mediation or amicable dispute resolution mechanisms.
